75 Main, led by restaurateur Zach Erdem, has been a popular destination for Southampton residents, tourists, and celebrities for several years. Zach approached us to help bring his dream to life, and it was clear that the personal approach of Bishop Design was the right fit for a project so close to his heart. The updated aesthetic pays homage to the beloved legacy of the establishment while infusing fresh elements that captivate guests and ensure a timeless appeal.

The Hamptons aesthetic dictates light colors, specifically the signature white and blue nuances, and adds refinement to the design in the form of artwork and fabric details. White-washed shiplap wood cladding is an essential element, uniting the interior together. At the core of the design work was a focus on how the customers would feel while in the space. It had to be welcoming, warm yet fresh.
We aimed to bring Tulum's fun, exciting, tropical vibes while honouring and fitting within the elegant coastal Southampton setting. We selected earthy tones, textures, and patterns to represent the Caribbean influence using natural materials, from wood and rattan to plush leather textures. The interiors fashion plenty of raw elements, and the botanical-print wallpaper creates a subtle jungle feel. Clay accessories and hand-woven elements such as macrame complete the tropical ambience.
Deeming the design as the ‘best-designed restaurant in Long Island’ Erdem has since reported receiving nothing but great feedback from new and existing clientele saying, ‘people are loving it’. The refurbishment was to not only elevate the restaurant but also enhance the entire F&B sector of The Hamptons by setting a new benchmark of what the hospitality industry could be within this renowned community.
75 Main sets itself apart from other venues in the area with its owner's personal touch and approach. Zach's contagious energy creates an inviting atmosphere, making every moment spent at the restaurant an enjoyable and memorable experience.
